Performance Based Advertising
The term Performance Based Advertising includes various billing models in which the advertiser pays for a measurable result and the publisher referring the visitor receives a commission.
Models used:
- Cost per lead (CPL) charges for clients leaving their details for further action.
- Cost per sale (CPS) charges a commission per order or percentage of turnover. (Cost per action (CPA) is a generic term for CPL and CPS)
- The CPA advertising model is without risk for the advertiser as only results are charged. Revenue is uncertain for publishers, therefore not all web sites are willing to accept campaigns that bill their costs based on the CPA model.
Testnet has many years of experience with Performance Based Advertising and can help you develop and implement a successful CPA campaign.
